Vacancy

Our Vacancy

We are a busy, outward looking congregation with spirit-filled heart for serving Jesus in our growing community.

We offer a variety of opportunities for worship, prayer, service, discipleship and fellowship across the week and work in unity with our neighbouring churches.

We are prayerfully hoping to discern God’s choice of our next spiritual leader.

Applications including a letter and CV to the Nominating Committee Clerk: Janet Wemyss
at janet.wemyss@btinternet.com. Informal enquiries to the Interim Moderator.

Local Church Review

Local Church Review (LCR) was enacted by the Church of Scotland General Assembly in 2011 as the Presbytery’s contemporary process for Congregational Review.  It encompasses the relationship between congregation, Presbytery and the wider community. The Good News of Jesus Christ is made known in the relationship he had with those he met on the journey; it is this meeting and journeying that is central to LCR.

Sound and Vision – YouTube

Kirkliston Parish Church has a YouTube channel.  Apart from the reflections videos shown on the Streaming page on this website via the main menu, there is only one item so far available on the channel, which is a slideshow presenting Children, Families, and Youth information.  Not recent but reasonably contemporary and full of information.  Live streaming is not yet available from Kirkliston.

As in most things involving children it has an ‘edgy’ attention grabbing sound and vision format, so hold on to your seat and click here to go to YouTube.
