Children and Youth Videostream

Sunday 14th February

This week at littlekids@kpc Dylan has hurt himself – how did it happen and how can we help him?

Kids@kpc. How did you get on listening to God last week? What if I didn’t hear him? This week we talk about why that might happen, why we shouldn’t worry about it and just how much you matter to Him 😍

Sunday 7th February

This week at littlekids@kpc Scorch has a friend that wants to come along but he’s shy. Find out if he comes along and what story from the bible might help him 🤔🤔

This week kids@kpc are starting to learn how to hear God. It’s exciting to learn how we can!

There will be activities to do, to suit your age, and you can share your thoughts/ideas and colouring with us.  Let us know how you’re finding it and if there is anything we can do to help. Have fun! 😁😁

Sunday 31st January

kids@kpc are starting a new series this week. Sometimes, we all find it hard to know what to say when we pray and can be worried we might say the wrong thing.

We are going to find out how to talk to God this week and why we shouldn’t be worried. Next week we will be learning to listen to God.

This week, littlekids@kpc are looking at a story about a very special dinner and how Jesus is happy when we share.

Scorch is going to make a basket and the video for the craft will be posted separately.

Sunday 24th January 2021

Happy Sunday! Our first video of the new year for everyone. We miss seeing you and have lots of plans for the year ahead – a new year and exciting times ahead.

Enjoy the video and remember, get in touch any time with YOUR ideas and thoughts. And remember, we are here for you and if there is anything we can help with, drop us a message or an email.

Children and Families

At Kirkliston Parish Church we try to offer a number of different opportunities for children throughout the week.  Please do not hesitate to get in contact with us to find out more, by using the form at the end of this page, or talking to our Children and Families Worker, Kirsteen Marcelin (contact details at the bottom of the page).

We are so sad that due to the Covid pandemic, we are not able to meet at the moment.

We enjoyed our Wonder Zone Holiday Club on zoom and are looking into options for meeting up virtually at the moment – we will update you the progress we make.

Videos are produced on a weekly basis for primary aged children and pre school children. You can find them on the Facebook pages of @kidsatkpc and @kirklistonparish church. Keeping in touch is important to us and we miss seeing you so we are looking into meeting virtually. Please do get in touch if there is anything we can do to help or anything you would like to learn.

We are unable to meet at the moment due to the regulations. We will be meeting to discuss ways we can stay in touch with you while the pandemic is with us. Please do contact us if there is anything we can do in the meantime.

Little Coffee Stop

Again, we are unable to meet at the moment due to the regulations and guidelines. We miss seeing you on a Friday morning but look forward to when we can meet again when it is safe to do so.

We are unable to meet on a Friday as yet. Some videos were put on our Facebook page with challenges and experiments to keep in touch but we miss seeing you. We are currently looking into ways we can stay connected, including virtually. If you have any ideas or something you think we can do just now, contact us to let us know. All ideas are welcome!

This year, we will not be able to perform our usual Nativity Play. But fear not, technology can be our friend and there are plans in the making to make a video nativity. We will be looking for volunteers to join us so don’t be shy! More details to follow on this in the next month. Look out for information on our website and Facebook pages.

Annual Review

As we take a moment to look back on another year when God has been with us, we’ve gathered together some of the facts and figures that help to tell the story of what’s been happening…

Download as a PDF to read offline, or view online here.

Prayer Hotline

Every year we run an email-based prayer hotline during the Easter, summer and October holidays, where you can sign up to receive weekly prayer points, updates and urgent needs from holidays and missions as they’re taking place. We would love it if you would consider joining us in prayer for these events.

There is still a lot of uncertainty over whether in-person events will be possible, but we continue to pray and prepare, ready to adapt plans as circumstances change. Whether holidays and missions take place in person or online, your role as a prayer partner is vitally important.

Sign up for the Prayer Hotline here.
