c.a.b. Fund Raising Ceilidh 27/02/10

There will be a ceilidh on Saturday 27th February 2010 to raise funds for the c.a.b. (our outreach Christian Action Bus) at the Bowling Club, Kirkliston, from 7.30pm till midnight, to include a buffet supper.

It will be an adults only event, with dancing to the ceilidh band "Canongate Cadjers". Tickets at £8 each are available now from members of the c.a.b. team. A raffle will take place, and prize donations would be appreciated.

Numbers are restricted and these nights are generally very popular, so ensure you get your tickets as soon as possible.

1. Worship Leading for Worship Bands

Developing your Spiritual Gifts - TRAINING DAY 27th February 2010.
St Andrews Parish Church Bo'ness.

Jock Stein is currently working to promote better worship leading among worship bands and has teamed up with SANCTUS MEDIA.

We propose to put on a pilot Training Day to engage with congregations who may have a worship band or are thinking about going down that route. We also want to offer training and advice regarding using a mixing desk and lighting.

The first of these training days is Saturday 27th February 10-3pm. Cost £15 including lunch. We intend to offer other training opportunities on other media related topics. If you'd be interested contact us or phone neil on 01506 827217

2. PROPHECY CONFERENCE

Holy Trinity Wester Hailes Church of Scotland

Led by Rev Barry Kissel and Mary Kissel from St Mary's Marylebone London

The Prophecy Conference will have the theme Anointed to Serve and will explore the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the local church

The conference takes place over 4 sessions: the first on Friday evening 19 March, 7.30pm - 9.30pm, followed by three sessions on Saturday 20 March, beginning at 9.30am. There will be breaks for refreshments and lunch on Saturday. Coffee/tea will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
